John F. Parisi
John holds the position of Managing Partner, and co-founder of Parisi Gray Wealth Management, LLC. PGWM was created in 2016 after a 20-year career as one of the top Financial Advisors at Merrill Lynch. John has been named to Barron’s list of Top Advisors in America from 2012-2017. In 2021, Parisi Gray ranked as the 7th fastest growing RIA in America, and the first in NJ in the $350mm to $500mm assets under management category.
John began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1988. He spent the first ten years of his career as an Institutional Bond Trader at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers, managing a $1 billion plus bond position, making markets and trading for clients including some of the largest financial institutions and governments around the world. He specialized in trading Investment Grade US Corporate Bonds, Government Bonds and Futures. John also spent time in Merrill’s London Office trading non-dollar high yield government bonds.
In 1998, John moved to Merrill Lynch’s Global Wealth Management division. A Managing Director, he created The Parisi Group to focus on Private Banking and Investment Management for high net worth and ultra-high net worth families. John’s team quickly became one of Merrill Lynch’s most recognized and fastest growing teams in the Merrill Lynch roster of Wealth Advisors. John holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation, earned at the Wharton School of Business, and is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association.
On a personal note, John is the proud father of three adult sons. He lives in Morristown and Bay Head, NJ. John grew up in Ridgewood, NJ, attending Ridgewood High School, where he was a nationally ranked 800-meter runner. He attended Georgetown University on a Track Scholarship. At Georgetown, John majored in Finance, graduating with honors.
John co-founded and developed what has become the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ. Over the years, he has served on the club’s Advisory Board and Membership Committee. In his personal time, John enjoys golf, sailing, skiing, reading, and cooking. John is a competitive sailor and a two-time Ironman Triathlon finisher.
